Leslie Stenger is a Senior Professional Learning Specialist at The Lawrence Hall of Science. She facilitates and designs experiences that build the capacity of instructional leaders to provide high quality professional learning that supports the implementation of research-based science instructional materials. She also develops and facilitates presentations for instructional leaders and classroom teachers focused on instructional materials implementation, multilingual learners, localization, and systems thinking.
Prior to joining the team at The Lawrence in 2017, Leslie spent 19 years working in the Berkeley, California Public Schools as a middle school math and science teacher and assistant principal. She holds a Master of Arts in Science Education from the University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
