Mingyue Sun, research associate at EDC, has expertise in developmental sciences, learning sciences, instructional design, and mixed-methods research. She is experienced in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, randomized controlled trials, and formative and summative evaluations. In addition to CAESART, her research focuses on how educational media and technology can support creative and playful learning for children and foster family engagement

Sun has presented her work on podcast-inspired playful learning at the Society for Research in Child Development (SRCD) and co-authored a peer-reviewed article in Education and Information Technologies. She holds an EdM in Human Development and Education from Harvard University and a BA in Psychology from Bryn Mawr College.
