Naomi Hupert, a senior research scientist and an expert in K–12 literacy and digital learning, leads the Center for Children & Technology at EDC. Her research has identified effective strategies to improve the quality of pre-K–12 education and has increased understanding of how educational media and technology can help teachers and families enhance learning.

A widely published author, Hupert’s findings and insights appear in numerous academic and general audience outlets, including Education Week, EdSurge, K–12 Dive, Edutopia, and WBHM Public Radio. She holds an MSEd, with a specialization in Literacy and Language-Related Learning Disabilities, from the Bank Street College of Education.
